I don’t know about you but I hate being at this stage,
Where you’re incapable of achieving your goals, it feels like I’m trapped in a cage,
People tell me that it’s normal, it happens to people my age,
But to be honest right now my focus is how I’m gonna turn the page.
All my life I’ve been written off, which means that I’ve got nothing to prove,
I feel like I’m mentally in good shape, since my mind is always on the move,
I’m out here grinding and rhyming trying to find my groove,
Focusing all my energy on me, trying every way to improve.
I’m making a path of my own, I’m no longer moving with the crowd,
To save myself from the noise, I’ll play from my headphones music out loud,
I’m doing this for myself so that the future me can stand and applaud,
I’m putting all my focus on me knowing one day I’ll make myself proud.
